The ultimate just-in-case camp cover

Hammock camping is one of the most comfortable ways to get your head down outdoors. Until the heavens open, that is. And let’s face it, whether you’re camping in a balmy Scottish woodland at the height of summer or watching the day end from the sun-beaten Cornish coastline, heaven’s door is perpetually ajar over the UK. That’s why we always pair our hammock with a trusty tarp — even on the warmest, clearest days. When you’re not sure whether one is needed, however, there’s no fun in lugging lots of potentially unnecessary kit with you. Which is why we love the Lightest Tarp from TTTM. Ultralight and tiny when packed away, it’s one of those items that will quickly find a regular home in your pack — all while being perfectly capable of keeping your campsite covered should the heavens do their thing in the middle of the night. Just like the original Moon Tarp, the Lightest Tarp delivers the same 250 cm x 250 cm of coverage – perfect for keeping a solo hammock and gear dry through the night – yet weighs less than 400 grams when packed with 4 guy ropes.

    • Made from 20D silnylon
    • Ultralight with a packed weight of less than 395 grams (when using only 4 guy lines)
    • Comes pre-seam sealed
    • Includes 8 carabiners, 8 quick-release tension buckles and 2 pegs
    • Expands to deliver 2.5 metres squared of protection
    • Fits over all standard TTTM hammocks
    • 10-year warranty on manufacturing defects and materials
    • Material: recycled 20D Ripstop Sil-Nylon, PFC-free
    • Dimensions: 250 cm x 250 cm, 350 cm diagonal
    • Weight: min. 395 g (4 guy ropes), max. 470 g (8 guy ropes, 2 pegs)
    • Waterproof 1500 mm
    • Includes 8x carabiners & 8x quick-release tension buckles, 2x Y pegs
    • Contrast color ridge line for easy set up with carabiners
    • Mesh pockets for all guy lines
  • Sustainability through longevity - Ticket to the Moon offers 10 years warranty against defects in workmanship & materials for this product.

  • Whether you're a seasoned tree-dweller or just hammock-curious, big-hearted Balinese brand Ticket to the Moon makes the best nylon parachute hammocks out there. Which they should, really, when you consider that these sultans of swing have been in the game since the 90s. Lightweight, quick-drying and machine-washable, their hammocks are handmade to the highest standards.

In fact, the only real trouble with a Ticket to the Moon hammock is persuading yourself to roll out of it and set out on an adventure – but fortunately the speedy S-hook hanging system and specially designed pack sack make it a breeze to take your hammock with you on your travels.

In a world of outsourcing, murky supply chains and exploitative manufacturing processes, Ticket to the Moon’s approach is refreshingly straightforward. All their stuff is designed and produced in-house at their Bali HQ – where the folk making your hammocks get good salaries, decent working hours and pensions, plus a cut of the annual profits. And it must be a pretty sweet place to work because they reckon no-one's handed in their notice since 1996. Materials are locally sourced and often reclaimed or upcycled, while for more than 15 years they've also been funding a foundation that works with indigenous Sumbanese Kodi people in Indonesia to help improve their living conditions and resilience. All of which is nice to think about as you swing gently from side-to-side in the sunshine.

This is a barrier cream?
I also have very oily skin, so normally I stay away from anything that says barrier or balm. I push skin a lot lol...with max strength tretinoin, glycolic acids, salicylic acids, vitamin C... so there are times when I just need max help from a richer product bc sometimes I take it too far. LRP Cicaplast has been a staple and has saved me many a times. I bought this bc of the high percentage of ectoin, 5%, and it was so reasonably priced. When I squeezed the tube, I was really worried, it was thicker looking than the Cicaplast. However, when I spread it out, it was SO light and a tiny amount --barely a pea size, was enough to coat my face. It did not feel heavy. Even with my oily skin, I think I could wear this everyday. As an experiment, I applied any excess on one side of my hand, as I'm right handed, I would apply it on my left hand. I've had this about a week, and right now after doing the dishes, and washing my hands multiple times without any hand cream on it, my right hand is definitely drier than my left hand. My left hand also looks less red and more calm. This formula is 5 stars for both the effectiveness and the elegant formula. It may yet replace my LRP Cicaplast...we'll see!

Saved my daughter’s skin
My 21 yr old has gone from clear skin to now having cystic acne and whilst trying to get to the source of it, her skin has been painfully inflamed and constant dark red breakouts. We have tried other professional skincare’s, “no downtime” peels designed for acne, which made it worse etc. This product Finally was what gave her skin some relief, calmed the pain and inflammation, nearly stopped the breakouts and is allowing her skin to heal up. She said it felt so much better immediately after starting using it. And is so grateful for the redness and pain relief.

My go to makeup removal wipes
Size: 1 Count (Pack of 25)
CeraVe makeup wipes are perfect for traveling. Plant based, non sticky, makes makeup removal a snap and best of all it first irritate my sensitive skin. Open it up fully and simply wipe away your makeup. Place over eyes for about a minute to dissolve away mascara, eyeshadow and eyeliner. Truly it’s just that easy to easy to use. For me there’s no mess or fuss with using these wipes. They are a bit pricey, but you’re paying for a quality product.
